Who am I to argue with the most logical conclusion then? We'll do a few rounds and see if anything has drastically changed, and if they haven't then it's probably fine to rest for the night. Right?

I may visit one of the libraries afterward. There are many books I've yet to read.

I guess you probably don't have much time for reading when you're busy working anyway. [ ... ] Some people say we don't have time to waste for stuff like that here, but I don't think i agree with them. It's kind of all a part of our progress when you think about it.

It's only a waste when the subject is totally irrelevant. Like you said, reading is an educational activity that grows knowledge.

Even then I don't know if I can agree. Maybe it's irrelevant in the moment, but it may not be later. [ ... this next question may seem out of the blue, but it's something he's been thinking on. ]

No, it has. But I would say I'm wasting way more time than you are but I'm still getting the same results. So I guess I'm just curious how far the line can be drawn, you know?

Because we've been doing this so long by now, I guess... I just want to make sure nobody's falling behind, you know?

I see. You're doing the same thing you did for your father.

What? [ wait. ] Oh. I mean... I didn't think about it that way, but maybe that's true. I just think it's kinda important since it can be easy for something to slip through the cracks.

Has anybody fallen behind?

A few people have reported they aren't feeling the same things other people are, but they're starting to catch up now. I think that's a start.

I wonder what caused the difference . . .

[aerodynamic]

I have an idea of what the difference is, but it's hard to say that's exactly it. But usually it's from people who aren't really sharing things with other people... I think. If I had to guess the pattern and based on what they've said to me.

What things would those be?

[aerodynamic]

It's usually that they aren't sharing things about themselves, or they're resistant to exploring new options. A few people haven't really tried to form deeper connections whether out of disinterest or just not thinking about it at all. Knowing what we know now about the shards though, the stakes are raised a little.

So you believe the key to progressing . . . is by being open-minded not just toward Purgatory itself, but the people in it as well?

Yeah. I think that's a huge part of it. It kinda makes sense though, it's how our powers worked at home, too. By talking to each other and strengthening our bonds, our Personas leveled up. Here, it's helping navigate the maze and showing our true strength.

What do you mean by "true strength"?

[aerodynamic]

It's not physical strength. It's what we can endure from learning about each other and facing our own fears and limitations. Or maybe I'm reading all of this wrong.

Is learning about one another something to be endured?
